Naast de huidige houtzagerij ligt de oude Twickeler Houtzaagmolen uit 1771 die nu dienst doet als museum. Oorspronkelijk werd hier op windkracht gezaagd, vervolgens met een stoommachine, daarna een diesel aangedreven machine en tot slot elektrisch.

Next to the current sawmill is the old Twickeler Wood Sawmill from 1771, which now serves as a museum. Originally sawing was done here using wind power, then with a steam engine, then a diesel-powered machine and finally electrically, until the sawmill opened a new building in 1975.
