Unity Bridge - 1992 - Costa Mesa, CA - Bridge Date Stones and Plaques on Waymarking.com

The bridge links the Segerstrom Center for the Arts and South Coast Plaza Mall. There's a geocache at GZ which is how I found this plaque. The plaque is located on the eastern end of the bridge in the center of the sidewalk.

The plaque says, "Designed to be a landmark symbol linking the growth of South Coast Plaza, United Bridge fulfills the vision of a pedestrian orientated urban center and completes a convenient pedestrian circulation and access plan. Dedicated to the customers, employers, guests and patrons of the area's retails, office, hotel and cultural elements, Unity Bridge commemorates celebration of South Coast Plaza's 25th anniversary
