This is the grave of an unknown veteran of the Revolutionary War. It is located off Lake Ninevah Road, and there is a sign near the road to guide to it. Near the grave is a historic marker posted by a local Boy Scout Troop.
Text on marker:
"In the hillside 600 feet north of this marker lies Vermont's unknown solider. Representing all military services in all armed conflicts, those lost in duty and devotion, giving their tomorrows for our today.
A veteran of the Revolutionary War who died by a spring while on the way home, buried on the knoll between the spring and nearby encampment on the crown point road."
