The small village of Kilrenny is situated in the East Neuk of Fife on the east coast of Scotland, just north of the coastal town of Anstruther. On the northern edge of the village heading towards Kilrenny Common is this Scottish lectern-style doocot which lies in a garden area to the west of the road.

The doocot was once in a state of disrepair, but was restored by the East Neuk Preservation Society, with a white-harled wall and red pantilled roof.(link)

The doocot is the westerly of two, with one to the east of the road in the grounds of Innergellie House, which is in a ruinous state.

(If known) Approximately how many pigeonholes in the dovecote?: 700
