The Cowboy Travel Plaza at I-35 and Highway 51 now has an off-leash dog area, a must-have for travelers. This is a large fenced off area on the southeast side of the plaza, near the entrance to the parking lot.
A large sign on both sides calls this "Dog Park Fun Zone", although currently the only thing in the dog park is a coin-operated merry-go-round for children.
There are not separate areas for small and big dogs.
I'm sure that very soon they will install a dog poop bag dispenser.
