01/01/1961 by CGS (MONUMENTED)

DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1961 4.4 MI SE FROM PIONEER. F 236 1961 FROM THE SOUTHERN RAILWAY STATION IN PIONEER, GO 2.4 MILES SOUTHEAST ON THE SOUTHERN RAILWAY, THEN 0.65 MILE EASTERLY ON A SPUR TRACK, THEN 0.5 MILE EAST ON A GRAVELED ROAD TO A T JUNCTION, THEN GO 1.3 MILES SOUTHEASTERLY ON A GRAVELED ROAD TO A Y JUNCTION AND A SMALL CONCRETE BRIDGE. THE BENCH MARK IS 28 FT. EAST OF THE CENTER OF A GRAVELED ROAD AND 13 FT. NORTH OF THE CENTER OF A GRAVELED ROAD. THE DISK IS CEMENTED IN A DRILL HOLE IN TOP OF THE WEST END OF THE NORTH CONCRETE HEADWALL OF THE BRIDGE AND IS ABOUT LEVEL WITH THE ROAD.
