The Rawlins County Veterans Memorial is on the south side of the Rawlins County Courthouse, just east of the sidewalk, in Atwood. The tall granite monument bears the names of county veterans and the wars in which they fought.

The tall grey stone monument is topped with the seals of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, followed by the text given above and the names of Rawlins County veterans. Three flagpoles are behind the memorial, flying the U.S. and Kansas flags.
