In February 2017, the Michael Commissioners applied for planning permission to replace and update the play equipment at the Crowe's Field Playground.
This play area is located off Main Road in the village of Kirk Michael behind the Telephone Exchange and the former Ebenezer Chapel.
The playground provides a variety of modern children's play equipment, including swings, slides, see-saws and climbing frames. The equipment which was supplied by the Michael Commissioners who updated the equipment in spring 2017. (

New play equipment is planned for villageTuesday, 21 February 2017 - Planning
Michael Commissioners has submitted three applications to planners.
They relate to Crowe’s field, off Main Road (17/00135/B), Ellisons’s Green in Cannan Avenue (17/00136/B )and Broogh Wyllin play areas (17/00138/B).
In relation to the Crowe’s field play area, the application states: ’The play equipment is old and well used so needs to be replaced.’
Meanwhile, the intention at Ellison’s Green is to ’provide a small piece of equipment for children to play on while families picnic in the area’. Benches have already been installed.
Michael Commissioners described the play equipment at Broogh Wyllin as ’very well used but now needs replacing or upgrading for the children of the village and any visitors.’
