Wegkreuz nahe Militärflugplatz Laupheim - BW, Germany - Christian Crosses on Waymarking.com

An der westliche Grenze des Miliärflugplatzes Laupheim, wenige Meter abseits des Radweges welcher neben der Walpertshofer Straße verläuft,
findet man auf einem gepflegt angelegtem Rasenstück dieses Wegkreuz.
Ein mit Betonplatten ausgelegter Weg führt vom Radweg direkt auf das Kreuz zu, neben dem Kreuz befindet sich in einigem Abstand eine Bank.
Die quadratischen Kreuzbalken des aus Eichenholz gefertigte Kreuz messen 10 mal 10cm und sind am Fuß in Metall gefaßt.
Die Höhe des überdachten Kreuzes beträgt ca. 3m.
In der Höhe von 1,5 Meter ist eine Metaltafel befestigt die auf die Ersteller des Kreuzes, die Kolpinggemeinde Laupheim hinweist.
Eine Eichentafel weißt den Spruch "Willst du Gottes Allmacht seh'n so mußt du durch die Fluren geh'n" auf.
Die obere Hälfte des Kreuze mit dem Kreuzbalken an dem eine geschnitzte Jesusfigur angebracht ist, ist überdacht und nach der Rückseite hin geschützt.
Oberhalb der Figur des gekreuzigten, unter dem Dachfirst ist die Tafel mit der Inschrift INRI angebracht.
Die ganze Anlage macht einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck welche durch die Blumen am Kreuzfuß bestätigt wird

On the western border of the Laupheim military airfield, a few meters away from the cycle path that runs next to Walpertshofer Straße,
you can find this wayside cross on a well-tended lawn.
A concrete paved path leads from the bike path directly to the cross, next to the cross there is a bench at some distance.
The square cross bars of the cross made of oak wood measure 10 x 10 cm and are set in metal at the foot.
The height of the roofed cross is approx. 3m.
A metal plaque is attached at a height of 1.5 meters which points to the creator of the cross, the Kolping community of Laupheim.
An oak board reads the saying "If you want to see God's omnipotence you have to walk through the hallways".
The upper half of the cross with the cross beam on which a carved Jesus figure is attached is covered and protected from the rear.
Above the figure of the crucified, under the roof ridge, there is a plaque with the inscription INRI.
The whole area makes a very well-kept impression which is confirmed by the flowers at the cross base
