Exposure
The house offers an indoor and outdoor exhibition on the theme of the forest in the Aure valley.
Three levels of forest are exposed: the riparian forest on the edge of Neste, the beech-fir forest and the pine forest of the Néouvielle Nature Reserve, the highest forest in Europe.
For each of these habitats, the flora and fauna are presented there just like the trees.
Tactile, sound and scent animations allow the sensory discovery of these different animal and plant species.
The use of the forest by humans is also discussed.
An outdoor area on the theme of eco-responsible use of wood allows you to discover all the uses of wood in the form of tactile animations.

Projections
Many films on the National Park and the natural heritage are shown on demand in the screening room.

Information
A reception and information area allows you to consult documentation on the National Park, the Néouvielle Nature Reserve, the natural and cultural riches of the valley, hiking routes, refuges, fauna, flora and regulation. A tactile terminal presents the hiking routes of the Aure valley.

La maison propose une exposition intérieure et extérieure sur le thème de la forêt en vallée d'Aure.
Trois étages de forêt sont exposés : la ripisylve de bord de Neste, la hêtraie-sapinière et la forêt de pins à crochets de la Réserve naturelle du Néouvielle, plus haute forêt d'Europe.
Pour chacun de ces habitats, la faune et la flore y sont présentés tout comme les arbres.
Animations tactiles, sonores et odoramas permettent la découverte sensorielle de ces différentes espèces animales et végétales.
L'utilisation de la forêt par l'homme est également abordée.
Un espace extérieur sur le thème d'une utilisation éco responsable du bois permet de découvrir toutes les utilisations du bois sous forme d'animations tactiles.

Projections
De nombreux films sur le Parc national et le patrimoine naturel sont présentés à la demande dans la salle de projection.

Information
Un espace d'accueil et d'information permet de consulter de la documentation sur le Parc national, la Réserve naturelle du Néouvielle, les richesses naturelles et culturelles de la vallée, les itinéaires de randonnée, les refuges, la faune, la flore et la réglementation. Une borne tactile présente les itinéraires de randonnée de la vallée d'Aure.

Visit Instructions:
Visitors should visit the Nature Center and post a photo of themselves (or GPS unit) either inside or outside of the nature center visited. Logs without photos WILL be allowed if a lenghty description of one's visit and a mention of what they learned is included.
