Washhouse in Cruzy-le-Châtel

This wash house, built in 1898, is due to the lack of available places in the old wash house which is contiguous to it. The architect is Mr. Johnson, the contractor: Mr. Marquis, and the mayor: Mr. Gabriot. Its flysheet is surmounted by an elevation allowing ventilation and lighting. It also has three large bay windows framed by two doors. The large place in front was reserved for teams whose horses went to drink in the neighboring basin.

Ce lavoir construit en 1898, est dû au manque de places disponibles, dans l'ancien lavoir qui lui est contigu.
L'architecte en est monsieur Johnson, l'entrepreneur: monsieur Marquis, et le maire: monsieur Gabriot.
Son double toit est surmonté d'une élévation permettant l'aération et l'éclairage. Il possède également trois grandes baies vitrées qu'encadrent deux portes. La grande place devant était réservée aux attelages dont les chevaux allaient s'abreuver au bassin voisin.
