"The nave, built in the 12th century was vaulted in the 19th century. The side aisle and the north brace date from the 12th and 15th centuries, the collateral and the south brace date from the 12th and 17th centuries. The Renaissance choir is dated from 1695, and the bell tower from 1681.
The plan of the church presents an original form. The nave is very short (two bays) and has two side aisles. The whole is vaulted with quadripartite ribs and the spans are separated by large composite pillars. The vault of the transept crossing, very little protruding, presents a star motif. The choir is made up of four straight bays also vaulted with quadripartite ribs and ends with a semicircular apse with five sides.
The foundations as well as the buttresses are made of sandstone while the infill is in red brick. The cover is in slates.
The western wall has very few ornaments, apart from the two Romanesque-type buttresses that frame the door.
This portal is very simple; a semicircular arch underlined by a cornice. The transept is very wide, but it also shows a significant height. It is made in chalk. The lantern tower, above the crossing, is octagonal in shape and has open arched bays, as well as solid medallions. The openings of the straight choir bays are very tall and narrow and feature a low arch. "

"La nef bâtie au XIIe siècle a été voûtée au XIXe. Le collatéral et le croisillon nord datent des XIIe et XVe siècles, le collatéral et le croisillon sud datent quand à eux des XIIe et XVIIe siècles. Le chœur Renaissance est daté de 1695, et le clocher de 1681.
Le plan de l'église présente une forme originale. La nef est très courte (deux travées) et présente deux collatéraux. Le tout est voûté d'ogives quadripartites et les travées sont séparées par de gros piliers composites. La voûte de la croisée du transept, très peu saillant, présente un motif d'étoile. Le chœur est formé de quatre travées droites voûtées aussi d'ogives quadripartites et se termine par une abside semi-circulaire à cinq pans.
Les fondations ainsi que les contreforts sont faits en grès alors le remplissage est en briques rouges. La couverture est en ardoises.
Le mur occidental ne comporte que très peu d'ornements, si ce n'est les deux contreforts de type romans qui encadrent la porte.
Ce portail est très simple ; un arc en plein cintre souligné par une corniche. Le transept est très large, mais il montre aussi une importante hauteur. Il est réalisé en craie. La tour-lanterne, au dessus de la croisée, est de forme octogonale et présente des baies ouvertes en ogives, ainsi que des médaillons pleins. Les baies des travées droites de chœur sont très hautes et étroites et présentent un arc surbaissé."
