Le barrage de Saint-Ours, d'une longueur de 180 m, traverse la rivière et relie le village de Saint-Roch à l'île Darvard. C'est un ouvrage de régulation du niveau d'eau; il doit maintenir le niveau amont à une élévation constante d'environ 6,85 mètres, et ce jusqu'au bassin de Chambly.

The Saint-Ours dam, 180 m long, crosses the river and connects the village of Saint-Roch to Darvard Island. It is a water level regulation structure; it must maintain the upstream level at a constant elevation of approximately 6.85 m, up to the Chambly basin.
