A wooden lectern in the form of an eagle in St Michael's church, Whichford.

The eagle, with wings spread, stands upon an orb atop a finely carved stand. A small plaque indicates that it was dedicated to a Sarah Copleston - born 1843, died (unmarried) 1889.

The inscription in Latin on a small brass plaque suggests she was sister to Rev E G Copleston, rector of this church.
