The Woodland Road bridge is a main road in Darlington. It carries traffic across the Cocker Beck.
The Cocker Beck used to mark the border between Darlington and the village of Cockerton. Although still known as Cockerton village locally it is now well and truly part of the town. This road is now one of the main thoroughfares in and out of Darlington.
This particular bridge used to be a humped back bridge but was flattened and widened to allow electronic trams through, around 1900.
