The Franzosenfriedhof (Cementary for Frenchmen) is a verteran-cementary where soldiers from the Prussian-French-War of 1870/71 are burried. The soldiers burried here are prisoner-of-wars who were inmate of the camp on the Petersberg nearby. Central element of the cementary is the memorial for François Séverin Marceau who conquered Koblenz in 1797. The men who are burried here died by an epidemic.
Today the cementary was furbished up in 2008 and 1013 by the Rotary Club of Koblenz.
