This cross was erected during the time of the now demolished "Christchurch" which served Wribbenhall.
Church established 1701, demolished 1878, the graveyard restored as a Garden of Rest in 1949. Only the lychgate and the cross remain in an otherwise grassy area.
The cross is an octagonal stone pillar with a cross on top on a wide square multi-tiered base.
