Porter Hill is a small town on Highway 277, west of Elgin. This old cobblestone office building is all that remains of the Spanish Inn motel. The north side of the office building bears a black and white mural depicting life on the prairie. It shows a bison, a cowboy on horseback, and a miner leading a laden mule. The mural also depicts and names the Meers Country Store, Mount Scott, and Fort Sill. The mural was painted in 1998.
