This 1961 bronze sculpture by artist Paul Granlund depicts Jacob from the Old Testament story. The sculpture's title, "Jacob and the Angel II," suggests that Jacob is caught up in his struggle with the angel, but the sculpture only appears to depict one figure suggesting an internal struggle. The bronze has green patina and the surface of the figure is textured rather than smooth.
