Tynwald National Park and Arboretum - St. John's, Isle of Man - Non-Coastal Boardwalks on Waymarking.com

This wooden Board Walk can be found in the eastern part of the Tynwald National Park and Arboretum in St. John's. It zig-zags through the part of the park dedicated to the Parish of Michael.

The Park was opened in 1979 to commemorate the millennium of Tynwald. (visit link)

'Covering an area of some 25 acres, the Park divides into 3 subsections. Phase 1, the vicinity of the pond and lower slopes, accommodates a wide range of less common largely ornamental trees and shrubs and is divided by grassed rides, each of which bears the name of one of the Island's 17 parishes.'
