Next to the 101 Ranch arch is a beautiful shade tree that honors Erma Spangler. Erma was married to James Monroe (J.M.) Spangler, who worked at the 101 Ranch.
According to her marriage announcement in the newspaper, she married J.M. in 1907. They were both from Mulhall, Oklahoma.
