Château de Laujac
Le vaste domaine de Laujac, au cœur du Médoc, s’étend sur une superficie totale de 400 hectares dont 75 hectares de vigne.
Il englobe deux vignobles classés crus bourgeois en 1932 : celui de Laujac sur la belle croupe de graves filtrantes, assurant un excellent drainage naturel, et celui de Laffitte dans les sols argilo-calcaires proches du village de Bégadan.
La proximité de l’estuaire de la Gironde et de l’océan Atlantique créent un microclimat très favorable au vignoble et à la bonne maturation des raisins.
Au pied des vignes, s’étendent les grasses prairies du polder endigué où pacagent paisiblement le troupeau de bovins limousines et les chevaux de selle français élevés à Laujac.

Château de Laujac
The huge estate of Laujac is located in the heart of the Médoc region. It covers some 400 hectares in total, of which 75 hectares are planted to vines.
It encompasses two vineyards classified Crus Bourgeois in 1932: the Laujac vines are beautifully sited on filter gravels, providing excellent natural drainage. While the Laffitte vines grow in chalky-clay soils near the village of Bégadan.
The proximity of the Gironde estuary and the Atlantic Ocean provide very favourable conditions for the vines and good ripening of the grapes.
Below the vineyards lie the lush meadows of the lands created by the polder dam where Limousine cattle graze peacefully along with the French saddle horses bred in Laujac.

Das Weingut „Domaines Laujac“ mit seinen ausgedehnten Ländereien im Herzen des Médoc erstreckt sich über insgesamt 400 Hektar, wovon 75 Hektar Rebfläche ausmachen. Sie unterteilt sich in zwei Lagen, die 1932 als Grand Cru Bourgeois klassifiziert wurden: der Laujac-Weinberg auf einer schönen Flanke mit durchlässigem Kiesboden, der einen hervorragenden Wasserabzug gewährleistet, und Lafitte, wo die Reben nicht weit von dem Dorf Bégadan auf Lehm/Kalk-Böden stehen. Dank der Nähe zum Mündungstrichter der Gironde und zum Atlantischen Ozean hat sich hier ein Mikroklima entwickelt, das sich sehr günstig auf die Entwicklung der Rebstöcke und die Reifung der Weintrauben auswirkt. Am Fuße der Weinberge erstrecken sich saftige, von Kanälen durchzogene Weiden, auf denen Limousin-Rinder und Selle-Français-Pferde aus der Zucht in Laujac friedlich grasen.
