This is a homage to the men carrying the platform where the religious figures stand in a procession. That's the meaning of its title.

This sculpture stands in the center of a roundabout, in the Portuguese southern town of Loulé. It's made of metal, and it's bidimensional. From certain angles it's not possible to understand the representation. The beholder must stand in the right spot to see the full image, two men carrying it ("andor", in Portuguese) and the representations of Christ and Mary on the top.

Accordingly to the plaque it was created in 2009 by Miguel Cheta, and it's also a homage to a original work of the artist Jorge Timóteo.
