Saint John of Nepomuk (or John Nepomucene) [Czech: Jan Nepomucký; German: Johannes Nepomuk; Latin: Ioannes (or Ioannis) Nepomucenus (c. 1345 – March 20, 1393) is the saint of Bohemia (Czech Republic), who was drowned in the Vltava river at the behest of Wenceslaus, King of the Romans and King of Bohemia. Later accounts state that he was the confessor of the queen of Bohemia and he refused to divulge the secrets of the confessional. On the basis of this account, John of Nepomuk is considered the first martyr of the Seal of the Confessional, a patron against calumnies and, because of the manner of his death, a protector from floods and drowning.

V prolamované kamenné ohrádce zdobené kvetinovými závesy a s volutovými nárožími je na jednostupnové základne umísten ctyrboký hranol, na kterém stojí sokl hruškovitého tvaru ukoncený nahore profilovanou rímsou. Na prední strane soklu kartuš s reliéfním výjevem ze života svetce (shození z mostu). Pod rímsou kovová konzola s lucernou. Na rímse stojí na ctvercovém nízkém plintu socha sv. Jana Nepomuckého v mírne nadživotní velikosti. Svetec je oden v tradicní knežské roucho s biretem na hlave. Kolem hlavy svatožár s peti hvezdami. Pravou rukou pridržuje kríž s korpusem, v levici svírá palmovou ratolest. Na bocních volutách podstavce puvodne sedeli dva andílci, z nichž levý držel v ruce hvezdu a pravý visací zámek – symbol tajemství (andílci byli odcizeni v únoru r. 2000). Na nárožích ohrádky jsou umísteny ctyri postavy svetcu v podživotní velikosti.
