Monumented June 1977, set by the Ontario Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MTC). The disk is set just slightly below the ground level, in a depression such that is was not buried when I visited but may become buried over time. The disk is stamped "Control Survey 740609 M.T.C." A witness post stands behind the benchmark, and there were a number of wooden stakes surrounding the disk when I visited.

Highway 60 is very busy and care should be taken when visiting the benchmark. One can safely park on the north side of Highway 60, before the entrance to the gravel pit. Be sure to pull off the highway and do not block access to the gravel pit driveway.
