The Holy Trinity Column
In the centre of the square there is a Baroque column of the cloudlet-type was created in accordance with Vienna-pattern Our Lady’s column in the square of Am Graben. The column stands on a high, richly shaped pedestal on a platform in the shape of a cut-cornered square. In the corners there are adjusted low half-pillars with floral and fruit festoons. In the front of the pedestal there is an oval niche with the statuette of little John the Baptist.

The sculptural group of the Holy Trinity uses iconographically unusual compositions – on the top of the cloud-shaped column only God - Father sits on his throne, surrounded by little angels, with a dove of Holy Spirit at his feet. God - Son is portrayed in his child’s form between his earthly parents Mary and Joseph, at the foot of the column. The statue of John the Baptist in the niche of the pedestal iconographically proceeds to the Holy Family. In the „rear“ side of the column in the corners two other figures appear; however, they are not included in the concept of the idea; they are St. Roch and St. Sebastian, the saints usually worshipped as protectors against the plague.

The column was ordered by the Fulnek citizen Mehoffer in 1718. Its designer was the sculptor Jan Strummer from Olomouc, who created many plague columns in many towns of Northern Moravia. The sculptural group was restored in 1999 by academic sculptor V. Míca.
