Today, the town of Nardin is a ghost town with only about 30 residents. It was first settled in 1898 and thrived as an agricultural town. It is located in north central Oklahoma, about 8 miles west of Blackwell.

Ont he north side of town, next to a small community park, an old frame church building has a sign calling it Nardin Heritage House. In front of this church building is a patio of donated pavers and a granite monument celebrating Nardin's 100th anniversary in 1998. Friends of Nardin is a non-profit established in 1979 to document and preserve the history of the town. There are about 250 engraved pavers here, representing those who supported the celebrating of this town.
