Skallen er en kommunal ejendom, som stilles til rådighed for alle borgere over 60 år. Udover at stille bygningerne til rådighed giver kommunen også et mindre økonomisk bidrag til driften af de mange aktiviteter.
Alle over 60 år er velkomne til at deltage i aktiviterne ligesom man kan låne lokaler. Man kan spille kort, billard, danse, lære at tale engelsk, foredrag og meget mere. Formålet med Skallen er at forebygge ensomhed blandt ældre.
Skallen is a municipal property, which is made available to all citizens over the age of 60. In addition to making the buildings available, the municipality also makes a small financial contribution to the operation of the many activities.
Everyone over the age of 60 is welcome to participate in the activities, just as you can borrow premises. You can play cards, billiards, dance, learn to speak English, lectures and much more. The purpose of Skallen is to prevent loneliness among the elderly.
