Located above the front entrance of the building which is the Mary Nichols Art Center. It is also called Smithville Art League.

This peacock is the only mural on the front of the building. There are several on the side, but they are weathered and peeling. The peacock is still in good condition and must be fairly new as it is still bright blue.
