Le parc Morgan est situé sur la rue Sainte-Catherine Est, dans l'arrondissement de de Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve à Montréal, Québec.
En 1929, le terrain sur lequel se trouve le parc, a été vendu par la succession de James Morgan, le propriétaire d'Henry Morgan & Co., à la ville de Montréal. La ville y a crée un parc.
Le kiosque du parc doublé de vespasienne est unique à Montréal. Aucun autre bâtiment n’est semblable sur son territoire. Son architecture d’inspiration palladienne de la fin de la période Renouveau Classique Anglais (1900-1930), n’est pas sans rappeler quelques pavillons de jardins que l’on retrouve en Europe. La construction de toilettes publiques (vespasiennes) à Montréal au début des années 1930 s’inscrit dans le cadre de chantiers destinés à endiguer les effets de la crise économique. Ces « travaux de chômage » comprennent la construction de plusieurs installations qui visent à améliorer la salubrité publique.
Le Parc Morgan est un endroit idéal pour se détendre, profiter de la nature et participer à des activités de plein air. Le parc comprend une aire de jeux pour enfants et une colline pour la luge d'hiver.
Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve est un arrondissement de la ville de Montréal. Il est d'une superficie de 24,5 km2 et a une population de 136 024 habitants (en 2016).

Parc Morgan is located on Sainte-Catherine East Street in the Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve borough in Montreal, Quebec.
In 1929, the land on which the park is located was sold by the estate of James Morgan, the owner of Henry Morgan & Co., to the city of Montreal. The city has created a park there.
The park kiosk with the public toilets is unique in Montreal. No other building is similar in its territory. Its Palladian inspired architecture from the end of the English Classic Renewal period (1900-1930) is reminiscent of some garden pavilions found in Europe. The construction of public toilets in Montreal in the early 1930s was part of projects intended to stem the effects of the economic crisis. These "unemployment works" include the construction of several facilities aimed at improving public sanitation.
Parc Morgan is a great place to relax, enjoy nature and take part in outdoor activities. The park includes a children’s play area and a hill for winter sledding.
Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve is a borough of the city of Montreal. It covers an area of 24.5 km2 and has a population of 136,024 inhabitants (in 2016).
