The City of Golden Public Art Commission and Foothills Art Center commissioned seven artist to decorated the seven traffic signal boxes in downtown Golden. The Signal boxes are in high traffic areas. The artwork is printed onto vinyl and applied to the signal box. These were put on the signal boxes in early 2020.
Each panel has a animal on it and they are a black bear, mountain lion, deer and a bison. There are people as well doing varios activities. These are some activities you may see people ding in Golden or the surrounding area. Each panel is very colorful.
