The Crow Wing Trail is a 191 km segment of the Trans Canada Trail that runs from Winnipeg to Emerson. There are numerous access points along the way, including this one at the St. Pierre-Jolys Museum. While much of the Crow Wing Trail route is along sidewalks and country roads, this trailhead gives access to a 1.8 km stretch of gravel trail that runs along the dyke to the south of town.
Parking is available in the museum parking lot at the trailhead.

The trail is intended for non-motorized use only, however it is apparent that it is often used by ATV riders. Several signs along the trail ask them to at least slow down.
