This barn caught our eye while driving east on Britton Road because of its closeness to the road and visibility.

This barn is on the south side of Britton Road, just west of Piedmont Road, about 4 miles north of the town of Yukon. It is constructed of coursed rusticated stone block. A portion of the barn has been repaired with common concrete blocks.
The roof is gabled covered with metal sheeting, with two small loft windows. The end walls in the peak are wood planking. A low shed has been built at the rear, and a vine-covered silo stands on the southeast corner. The condition of the barn, and the unmaintained surrounding corral leads us to believe the barn is no longer in use.
