The mural is on the end wall of a building that stands three storeys tall with the mural taking up the full area. The underlying material of the wall is brick that has been painted white with the artist using only black, possibly acrylic, paint for the work. It is for me, at least, difficult to describe the mural but the photos show it well.

The webpage of the Dulwich Picture Gallery who commissioned the work tells us:

Across from Brockwell Park’s main entrance you'll find an interpretation of M.C. Escher’s Bond of Union by London-based muralist and street artist, Phlegm.

This mural is part of Dulwich Outdoor Gallery, a collection of works in the Dulwich area by top street artists. All of their walls have been inspired by paintings in the Permanent Collection at Dulwich Picture Gallery.

Known for surreal street art and with murals scattered across the urban landscapes of a number of continents, Phlegm was a natural choice for this Escher-inspired project. Comparisons can easily be drawn between the British-born artist and the Dutch draughtsman, both identifiable through the use of dream-like and illustrative qualities in their artwork.
