The remains of a probable homestead are along the Elders Run trail in Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area.

These appear to the the ruins of an old cabin, with a chimney and a nice foundation. There is a cellar you can stand up in and has an elaborate springhouse which still provides clear water. This drains to Elders run, a nearby creek.

The location is about 1/4 mils south of the intersection of the Elders Run Trail and the Horseshoe Trail. Very scenic in winter or summer.
