The two trucks that are painted on each of the garage doors were actually fire trucks that were at the fire station. Both trucks are still around as you can see one in the photo. The other is in a museum down the street.
Not sure when these were painted on the garage doors. I believe the artist is Ned Wallace as you can see his name on the painted truck on the left garage door. There is a great amount of detail in these works of art.
Fire engine on the left is an American La France and on the right a 1930s Chevrolet.
