Aeropuerto Shumba is located about 15 km northeast of Jaen. It operates domestic flights and it's a great option to someone traveling to/from Ecuador and heading to other Peruvian cities, like Lima.
It's a new airport, the small terminal was inaugurated in July 2016. Transport from town is only possible by taxi or tuk-tuk.
