It's been dubbed "Chompy", but you'll find an abstract sculpture of an Indian Blanket flower in a planter just a short walk from the town clock at The Riverwalk at Central Park, Flower Mound, TX.

This piece has been rather controversial, but it's certainly no "Scary Lucy". The developers drew their inspiration from the Flower Mound from which the city derives its name, and this sculpture is an abstract of an Indian Blanket flower. It's made of stainless steel, about ten feet tall, but unless you parachute and land on it the wrong way, there's no risk from its "teeth", which are yellow and of various sizes, inside a red enclosure. The sculpture is supported by a red base, and it stands inside of a planter, surrounded by real flowers.
