First State Bank - Webbers Falls, OK - Converted Bank Buildings on Waymarking.com

Webbers Falls is a town of approximately 600 people. It is located on the west bank of the Arkansas River. The town does not have a large commercial district. In the downtown area, there are but a few commercial buildings. This is a one-story brick building constructed in 1911, at the corner of Main and Commercial Streets. The bank occupied a small portion of the building. It is possible that the main entrance was once at the canted corner now occupied as a history museum. The bank tiles are located on a secondary entrance facing Commercial Street.

This storefront is the southernmost on the west side facing Commercial Street. The address shown on the glass door is 105 Commercial. The entrance is recessed and has wood paneling added. We could not tell whether the museum next door also occupies this portion of the building, but it is likely. The recessed area is tiled with a white background tile, and the words FIRST STATE BANK in black.
