FR L'église Saint-Barthélemy, classé Monument Historique depuis le 20 janvier 2000 est celle des films Jean de Florette et Manon des sources, de Claude Berri d'après Marcel Pagnol.
Cette église du xiie siècle, ancien monastère, de style roman, fut connue grâce à ces deux films qui y furent tournés en partie, avec notamment la fameuse « scène du banc », sur lequel le « papet » apprend de la vieille Delphine la terrible révélation.
EN The Saint-Barthélemy church, listed as a Historic Monument since January 20, 2000, is that of the films Jean de Florette and Manon des Sources, by Claude Berri after Marcel Pagnol.
This 12th century church, a former monastery, in Romanesque style, was known thanks to these two films which were shot there in part, with in particular the famous “scene from the bench”, on which the “papet” learns from old Delphine the terrible revelation.
