The plaine that fly that day in 20 november 1964 was a Convair 340 Metropolitan (SE-CCK). The route started in Bromma airfield kl 19:46 and was going to fly to Halmstad.
But there was thick fog in Halmstad so the crew on the plane had info that they should fly to F10 Ängelholm a military airport. The wether in Ängelholm was not better, it rain alot and the cloud was only 60 m from the ground.
Because F10 was a military airfield they had no PAR (Precision Approach Radar and then they light upp the led light in the runway 14 the airplane mistook the radio beacons because one beacon LJ was a military and should have used beacon J for civilian aircraft.
The beacons was placed 2250m wrong because thats te way to trick enemy plane, so now the plane tried to land 2000m before the airstrip but that was in the fields the pilots tried to lift but then the hit the railway lines and crached up side down. The plane was demolished of 43 passengers 31 was killed.
