Even if the swans that were abandoned swam here in the 19th century, there haven't been any swans here for a long time ... only the name has remained.
In order for the fish to be able to live in the Schwänchenteich, the quality of the water must be maintained through outflow and inflow. The pond is also aerated by the fountain.
