William Ray Memorial Park is located at the south end of 2nd Avenue. Both 2nd Avenue and 1st Avenue, run through the park. The large, treed park contains the city's community center. There are playgrounds, basketball courts, a picnic pavilion, tennis courts and volleyball.

Named after William Ray (1/14/1953 - 10/14/2005), a former City employee, the park is the venue for the annual Marshall County Fair, foot races and other community events. The park is adjacent to the high school football and baseball fields.
