Location of obelisk: Shiller St., E. 9th St., & Gutenburg St., city cemetery, Hermann

This crypt was built in 1877, the people of Hermann longingly restored it in 2012, placing the orientation plaque at that time.

Text upon this obelisk is simple. Up on the column is the Masonic Logo, and in the middle section it says:

FAMILY VAULT
of
CHARLES D. EITZEN

The obelisk sit on top of the vault and inside a wrought iron fence marking off the vault and the fringe relatives buried along side it.
