This one is interesting, in that it is either a replacement or a reworking of a
mural that was in the same location when Prohibition Chicken was the restaurant here. Previously, it was in color, reading "Greetings from Lewisville Texas", like so many interesting postcard murals. With the exception of the water tower's now advertising "Seven Mile Cafe" in the "W", all the local Old Town sights look as they once did, but they're now in grayscale. The mural now reads "Good Morning Lewisville Texas", with a five-pointed star and "Texas" in the lower right corner, above "#sevenmilecafelewisville", "Brennen Bechtol", and "2017". The locations represented in the letters of "Lewisville" are:
L - Old Town Station for the Denton County Transportation Authority's A-train.
E - Beasley's Fine Jewelry, out on Main Street.
W - The water tower in front of Seven Mile Cafe...it's right behind you.
I - The old Lewisville Feed Mill building, now J2 Steakhouse, on Main Street.
S - A bit of City Hall and its grounds, just east of where you're standing.
V - The entrance to City Hall, with its impressive clock tower.
I - The Greater Lewisville Community Theatre on Main Street.
L - The Medical City Lewisville Grand Theater on Main Street.
L - An "Old Town" sign for Main Street.
E - The old grocery building on Main and Poydras Streets, still standing.
The mural is visible from Charles St, and can be visited even when the restaurant is closed.
