Annie May Waltney passed away at the tender age of one, in 1912. Her parents prepared a headstone with a scroll laying over it, and placed a sitting dove on top. The dove is nesting on the scroll. Unfortunately over the past 108 years, the fragile beak of the dove has broken.

The top of the headstone once stood on a similar base. Over the years, someone has separated the two pieces and placed a granite slab between them, which is engraved "Buried on earth to bloom in heaven".

Kind of dove: Dove without olive branch, but with some clear connection to concepts of peace

Used material for the dove: concrete
