The decor is all Western, a little spartan in front of the counter, a little more cozy where the art gallery is located. This is a nice place to take a break from the overload of shops. It's counter service, and they'll call you by ticket number when your food is ready. They've got you covered on all three meals of the day, although they stop serving breakfast at 11 AM. Breakfast is mostly your typical American breakfast fare, while the rest of the day, it's hot dogs, burgers, and sandwiches. They even have a small menu for the kids, which includes grilled cheese, and a good selection of soft drinks, coffee, hot chocolate, tea, milk, and juice. Most folks will sit and have a cup of that famous five cent coffee -- pay on the honor system -- but you can always get an inexpensive cup to go with you. Dessert is usually a stop at the soda fountain here at Wall Drug, but if you'd like to stay put, they've got donuts, fruit pies, cookies, pie, and ice cream.
Oddly, their signature item, hot beef sandwiches with mashed potatoes, isn't on the to-go menu, but they can send you on your way with that, too.
