This old brick substation building is located on the High Street in the city of Bangor in Wales.

The substation is sandwiched between the boundary walls of the two adjacent buildings, which means that most of the actual structure is hidden.

The substation is set back slightly from the High Street and is protected by a safety gate. Unfortunately unsightly rubbish has collected between the gate and the door.

The door of the substation shows a warning sign in English and Welsh and also the designated name of the substation. There is also a notice from the power company SP Manweb with a contact telephone number in case of an emergency.
