Armona is an island off Olhão, in Southern Portugal. A very popular spot for vacationers it has a substantial increasing in its population during the summer months.
To prevent any incidents which should be addressed by firemen, there is a detachment from the main fire department of Olhão based here. They have a very well equipped ATV (All Terrain Vehicle) and a few personnel based here.
