A praying mantis is located at the Jackson-Madison County Library in Jackson, TN. The sculpture is on the north side of Layfayette, between Cumberland and Royal. It is approximately 15' tall.
The insect sculpture is made of metal, and shows the Praying Mantis wearing glasses and reading a book.
